This summer students from Cross Roads Student Ministries, will be heading to Woodbridge, VA.

This experience will challenge us physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Please support us and our team members with your prayers as we will be stretched to experience new things. We often see the communities we serve in impacted - this is an obvious benefit from mission trips like this. The other benefit we see is that the people who go end up catching a vision for God's people. They come back changed, more willing to serve those around them. They also return viewing their own world differently. Thank you!

Just outside of Washington, D.C., Woodbridge is a scenic and welcoming suburb along the Potomac River. What was once a quiet rural town has grown into a diverse community full of families, close-knit neighborhoods, and plenty of natural beauty. From peaceful parks to places like the Occoquan Bay Wildlife Refuge, there’s a real sense of charm and connection to the outdoors here.

The people here are proud of their town and its deep roots, but like many places, Woodbridge and nearby cities still face some tough challenges. Many families are dealing with financial struggles, limited access to resources, and the effects of housing insecurity. That’s where your group can make a real impact.

During your time here, we will come alongside the community in simple but powerful ways—offering help, encouragement, and a few extra hands where they’re needed most. Whether it’s connecting with local kids, supporting families, or lending a hand to seniors, we will be part of something meaningful that leaves a lasting impression on both sides.

*Any funds raised above the required amount for each student will go towards the entire group cost. Once the group has met its fundraising goals any funds over the total goal will be donated towards the local mission we are volunteering with.
