EVENTS
Monthly we offer a special events in addition to a twice monthly Student Sunday during our 10:30am service.
ABOUT US
Our mission is to "make disciples who make disciples" as we Worship, Serve, & Connect. We do this by creating ministry environments where students are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, community with fellow Christ-followers, and influence with others. We accomplish this through events, retreats, teaching sessions, fun activities, and small groups.
Here's what you can expect when you join us: fun, meaningful conversations about life, faith, and Jesus, and small group discussions for you, your friends, and family.
Here's an overview of our programs and resources:
Wednesday Nights: This is our primary gathering, held from 7:00-8:30 PM, September through May. We start the evening with fun and games in the gym, followed by a large group program, and then break into small groups.
Sunday School (for 6th grade only): You're welcome to continue joining CR Kids on Sunday mornings as you transition into our student ministry.
Student Sundays: Twice a month (1st and 3rd Sunday), our students gather on a Sunday morning for fun, fellowship, and Bible study.
Reach Out Activities (Special Events): These activities encourage you to have fun and provide a place to invite your friends. There may be a cost associated with some events, but if finances are a concern, we can help cover the cost!
Retreats: In addition to our weekly programs, we offer weekend retreats, typically in the fall or spring.
Summer Missions: We want you to experience Christian service and apply your faith by meeting the needs of others through work/service trips. During the summer, we attend camps that provide these opportunities. Most camps last about five days, though some may be shorter.
Volunteer Leaders: The backbone of our ministry is our team of dedicated adult volunteers. These leaders invest their time, energy, and care into each student in our ministry. They are here to support and care about you. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join our team!
Grow On Your Own: We'll provide "Do-It-Yourself" resources for families and students to help students grow in their relationship with others and with Christ! (See https://crossroadsbic.com/students/grow-on-your-own )

Students will need to be at the church by 5:00pm on Friday afternoon November 13th. We plan on being back to the church around 1:30ish on Sunday. (We will not eat dinner Friday night at the retreat center so pack a bag dinner or eat before coming)

About Where We Are Going
Just outside of Washington, D.C., Woodbridge is a scenic and welcoming suburb along the Potomac River. What was once a quiet rural town has grown into a diverse community full of families, close-knit neighborhoods, and plenty of natural beauty. From peaceful parks to places like the Occoquan Bay Wildlife Refuge, there’s a real sense of charm and connection to the outdoors here.
The people here are proud of their town and its deep roots, but like many places, Woodbridge and nearby cities still face some tough challenges. Many families are dealing with financial struggles, limited access to resources, and the effects of housing insecurity. That’s where your group can make a real impact.
During your time here, you’ll come alongside the community in simple but powerful ways—offering help, encouragement, and a few extra hands where they’re needed most. Whether it’s connecting with local kids, supporting families, or lending a hand to seniors, you’ll be part of something meaningful that leaves a lasting impression on both sides.

Student Ministry Update
New day. New look.
Big changes are coming to CR Students this Fall 2026!
To better serve our families and cut down on school schedule conflicts, we are moving our main night from Tuesday to Wednesday! Starting this fall, Wednesdays are officially reserved for students!
We know changing nights impacts a lot of schedules, and we are so grateful for a church community that rallies behind our shared value: The church’s future depends on developing the next generation. 🙌
